Ablo Blommaert celebrates its 60th anniversary!

Ablo Blommaert was founded in 1964 by Antoon Blommaert. Son Maarten Blommaert has been at the head of the company for 25 years, while Maarten’s brother Reinoud heads the production department. Over the years, the family business has grown from a regional manufacturer of photo frames to a manufacturer of framed wall decorations that exports outside Europe.

Twice a year Ablo Blommaert launches a new collection of wall decoration and photo frames. It is designed and produced in our own studio in Aalst. Each collection consists of trendy and accessible items as well as more exclusive items. Some customers are looking for limited editions. Or would like a lithograph signed by the artist and accompanied by a certificate.

A handmade product, designed with an eye for detail

Each item is handmade by a production team of 8 people. They deliver a product with an eye for detail and perfection. All wall decorations have a wooden frame and are framed with glass. We work with raw materials from exclusively European suppliers. The result is a high-quality product in a solid framework. The combination of art print and frame proposed in the collection can be personalized at the customer's request. This is also where the company distinguishes itself from mass production. However, an average of almost 1,000 pieces pass through the hands of the production team every week.

In addition to retailers and interior designers, restaurants or hotels also come directly to us to decorate their business. The company mainly supplies to residential projects, but also to the hospitality sector.

Ablo Blommaert offers framed wall decoration that fits perfectly in timeless and contemporary interiors. The wall decoration is often the final touch to the furnishings, which provides an extra luxurious touch.
